Synopsis
Ann Telford is in Durham jail with his brother for stealing food. She has to stay there for 7 years. She has got an unusual skill that the poor people don't usually have. She can read and write. Those skills will help her in the future.
Personal Opinion
I like this book because it is entertaining and easy to understand. I also like the plot of the book. I recomend it because it is easy to read and you will have a great time reading it.
