Synopsis
Gavin Maxwell lived in Scotland with his dog Jonnie in a big house on the coast.His dog died and he felt so sad and alone.One day he decided to go with friend to Iraq and there the two men visited Marsh Arabs and Gavin fell in love with a otter called chahala and he bought it. One day later, Chahala died because he ate a fish with poison. Another day Gavin bought another otter. They took a flight toLondon but in the flight the otter misbehaved. They arrived in London and some days later they returned to scotland. In Scotland the otter lived so happy but the animal died.After a week Gavin bought another otter and they lived very happy in Scotland.
Personal Opinion
In my opinion the book is so interesting and I like this book because it is so easy to read and I love the otters and animals.
