Synopsis
In 1866 a French scientist, Ms Aronnax, wants to find a giant whale with his servant Conseil and a whaler Ned Land. One day, they saw a giant whale under the water, they waited until the night and then they went near the whale but, suddenly, water from the whales back went up and fell into the boat. They fell into the water but they found a submarine. The captain's name is was Nemo and he said that they could stay but they would not return home. After two months in the Nautilus (the submarine name) it became englanted in some coral reef and Captain Nemo decided to wait five days. Ned, Consail and Mr Aronnax went to the coast to collet fruit because they could not fish. Suddenly, Ned saw some Papuans. They waited to kill them but they quickly went back to the Nautilus and there they waited while the Papuans were outside waiting for them to come out. Lucky, the sea settled, they unembed and went away to catch fresh air. Another day they went to Mediterranean sea and there Captain Nemo and one of hiscrew got off the submarine. They found gold, but while they were out, Ned planned a plan too scape. He told conseil and Mr Aronnax and they decided to leave at nine. A little before nine Mr Aronnax started looking for a small boat on the submarine but when captain Nemo saw it he thought he was looking for the reason that in this area of the Mediterranean sea ships with gold were sunk and all the gold they got was donated to unhappy people. When he returned to Ned and Consail, Nedyelled at him asking why he was not there. A day later Captain Nemoasked Mr Aronnax to go out with the roads. They followed The roads and suddenly they found Atlantis. After the visit to Atlantis, the submarine didn’t stop for many weeks. One day they were on the Antarctic sea and suddenly the submarine stopped because it was frozen, the submarine was catching a lot of ice until the submarine had caught so much ice that Captain Nemo decided to get out whit knives and spear to remove the ice. When Captain Nemo saw that there was little ice left, he decided to move away from the ice. One day, suddenly, they heard a loud noise on the sea and they went to see whet’s up. There’s a boat of the Captain Nemo’s enemy. The Captain Nemo hit the submarine to the boat and made a hole on the boat and the boat started to go down slowly. Then one day Mr Aronnax, Conseil and Ned toke a little boat and went to the Noruegan coast.
Personal Opinion
At first, I didn't understand a lot of words but little by little I started to understand. When I started to understand I enjoyed a lot. It is a very interesting book.
