Synopsis

This book is about the mysterious death of a young girl named Shelby. She was found dead by her husband Andy. He called Jack Morgan, who was the leader of the Private Agency, they both decided to call the police. Justine was the co-worker of Jack and she started investigating that mysterious death. She found out that it was probably linked to other cases which happened in the last two years. Emilio Cruz, another co-worker, found out that her name was Connie Yu and was 16 years old, she had only one earring on, the killer would send the other one by mail and send an email soon. They found a special name in her phone, Steemcleena. Steemclena, wanted another victim and he found it. She was Marg, a tall and strong girl, he also achieved killing her, he shot her head. Justine found the body and realised that, there had already been 13 young women killed. Meanwhile, Andy was extremely anxious about the death of his loved one and he was starting to think that the others were thinking that he was the killer. The crew, found a person that would be able to help them. They discovered that there was a trend that involved playing in a game where people had to win because if they didn't, they would die, after that, the found the name Scylla, which eventually leaded the crew to discover the group he was part from, Steemcleena's group. They met Wendy Boorman, who a few years ago, saw a crime of these, she described one of the men that were killing those young ladies and according to the DNA experiments, they realised that it was made by professionals, so Andy was discarded. They took the DNA from Wendy and discovered that Carmine Noccia was the main killer. The next day, they told Jack that Andy killed himself and he didn't believe it, so he started figuring it out.

Personal Opinion

From my point of view, this was not a very catching book because I got a bit lost while I was reading it. In this case I hadn't any favourite scenes because as I said before I didn't understand fully what was going on. However, I recommend this book to those who enjoy mystery and death stories.
