SYNOPSIS

When Mitch McDeere was graduating from Harvard Law School, he was offered jobs at two law firms. He met the Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert and Locke, who provided him with a car, a house and a lot of money. He knew that this was the best opportunity for him, so he flew to Memphis with his wife. He forced himself to work long hours in hopes of becoming the youngest partner ever in the firm. While he was working there, he noticed thet something bad was happening there, 5 lawyers died in 15 years. One day, Mitch was having lunch, when he was approached by FBI agent Wayne Tarrence and told him that lawyer's death wasn't an accdent and that he should be very careful because he was being watched and heard. Mickey was scared, he didn't know what to do.

Mitch then flew to Washington for a tax conference, where he met FBI Director F.Denton Voyles, who told him the firm was auned by the mafia and no lawyer left the firm alive, so she offered to work with you. A sleazy FBI agent told the Mafia family that Mitch had sold them documents, so Mitch decided to run away. Finally, 51 members of the company were arrested and the company went bankrupt.

PERSONAL OPINION

I really enjoyed reading this book because it's a mysterious one and it has a bit of intrigue. The vocabulary used by the writer makes it difficult to read though. I would reccomend this book to those who like mystery books and who know some vocabulary about crime.
