Synopsis
The narrator is brought to trial before sinister judges of the spanish inquistition. Poe didin't want to give explanations of what happened. He is condemmed to death and they put him in a dark cell. Poe decided to explore the cell and he almost fell into a well that was in the center of the cell. When he woke up he saw that there was food: meat, bread and water and he tries to explore the cell again. After losing consciousness again he realized that he was tied up and he found a way to save himself.
Personal Opinion
I liked this story because it was scary and it was very easy to read.
