Synopsis
Jack Morgan was a forensic expert. Suddenly, Jack’s oldest friend, Andy Cushman called him. Both had been friends since they worked together at “Prívate” a detective firm. Andy told Jack that his wife, Shelby, was dead. Someone had shot her with a gun in their house. Andy especially asked Jack to find his wife’s killer. Apart from the death of his friend’s wife, Jack was also investigating a case involving the murders of eighteen school girls and suspected that these murders had been comitted by a single proffesional killer. This case was very interesting because the killer always sent a message to the girls, passing as another person known to each of them, in order to get a date to murder them. After killing each of them he would send a message to the police telling them where the girls’ bodies were. In all his messages he always put the name Steemclena at the end, but the police didn’t know anyone by this name. The detective realised that the killers were different because in Shelby’s case she had not sent any misterious messages and wasn’t a school girl. So Jack, had to solve two completely different cases at the same time and as quickly as possible, so that there would be no more deaths. Will Jack be able to solve them?
Personal Opinion
In my opinion, this book shows us that you souldn’t trust anyone who sends you messages, because you never know who might be behind that message. I really recommend this book to anyone, especially to those who like detective stories.
