SYNOPSIS
Bud Corliss is a young man who was raised in a poor family and is in a relationship with a wealthy girl named Dorothy, whose father owns the successful Kingship copper company. One day, Dorothy confesses to being pregnant, and Bud immediately suggests getting an abortion. However, his real motivation is the fear that Dorothy's family will disown her for having a baby without being married, which would mean the loss of her inheritance. Bud's only interest is acquiring wealth, so he murders Dorothy. Afterward, he pursues Dorothy's sister, but she becomes suspicious of Dorothy's death and refuses to believe it was accidental. Bud gets rid of her as well. Finally, he approaches the last sister of the three. This time, he meets the Kingship family and secures a job in the company, achieving his goal. However, many friends and family members start suspecting of Bud, who believe the deaths were not accidental. In the end, karma catches up with Bud.
PERSONAL OPINION
I really liked this story, as the plot is not that predictable and the writer tells the story very compellingly. It was an interesting easy read that I would recommend to anyone.
